4M Study - Maternal Metabolism, Breast Milk Composition, and Infant Outcomes
Congratulations on having your baby!
The next part of the study will take place in the Center for Neurobehavioral Development (CNBD) at 717 Delaware Street on the East Bank of the University of Minnesota’s campus.
If you have already completed your initial one-month visit at the CNBD, please see the links at the bottom of this page for information on the 3-month and 6-month follow-up visits!
The One Month Study Visit
Laurie Foster, the study coordinator, will be contacting you about 7-10 days after your baby is born to set up your one month study visit. The start time of that study visit will be based on the time of your baby’s first full morning feeding.
On the day or two before your visit, Laurie will give you a reminder call or text to confirm the date and time of your study visit. If your baby’s feeding time has changed, the time of the visit can be changed to accommodate that. The study visit will start about 30 minutes before the time of that first big morning feeding, sometime between 8:00 and 10:00 am.
On the day of the visit, you will be met by research staff in the CNBD parking lot - on the back side of 717 Delaware - with a parking pass. When navigating, please use the directions and the map provided in your reminder email and here on the website. Do not use GPS as it is not accurate on the University of Minnesota campus. If you get lost on your way to the visit, please call the study number 612-361-7363 for guidance.
We hope to be able to stay in touch with you as the study progresses. If you move or your phone number or email address changes, please let us know! The information will only go to the study coordinator and will not be used for any other purposes.
